Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have experience working as part of a team providing client service to the public by telephone and in person in an office setting. Experience interpreting, understanding and explaining policies and procedures is essential. Experience assessing and editing written material, and using various research techniques such as the internet to gather information is essential. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, problem solving and computer (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills are essential. The ability to communicate fluently in both French and English (oral and written) is essential. Experience with record keeping and file management are desired. Good time management, conflict management, and negotiation skills are desired. Knowledge of the local labour market is desired.
Duties:
Job Order Control Clerks provide information and assistance to employers on the posting of job orders on the internet. They monitor and validate both job orders and employers for compliance with federal and provincial regulations. They provide information and contact numbers to the general public on a broad range of telephone and in person enquiries. They are engaged in a wide range of activities, including client and employer service, documentation of Employment Manitoba clients, human resource record keeping, and general administrative tasks as required by management.
