1. Manager, Financial Operations
Locations: St. John's
Salary:
$52,634 – $68,424 per annum (HL 19)

The Manager of Financial Operations is responsible for the development, implementation and operation of an effective and efficient accounting system with the necessary controls to provide for accurate recording, reporting and control of the Provincial Court’s assets, liabilities, revenues and expenditures.

Qualifications:
This position requires an extensive knowledge and understanding of accounting and financial principles and practices; knowledge of management systems and computer applications in financial management. Knowledge of Government’s financial legislation, regulations and authorities would be an asset. Furthermore, candidates must be able to work independently and demonstrate effective management, analytical, supervisory, leadership and communication skills. The candidate must also demonstrate initiative in work schedules during busy processes. The above qualifications would normally be acquired through an accounting designation, a related degree or graduation from a recognized accounting program supplemented with supervisory and leadership experience; equivalencies considered.
