MANAGER, EXECUTIVE OFFICE
JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for the day to day management of all administrative matters
relating to the office of the CEO and ensures functional procedures are
followed to facilitate the work of the CEO and Board of Directors.
Works closely with the CEO and members of the Board to ensure that
appropriate policies and processes are implemented, observed and
monitored.
Health and Safety Responsibilities
· Works in compliance with The Occupational Health & Safety Act
and its regulations
· Reviews and complies with the Health and Safety Policy
QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience in the voluntary sector protocol, specifically dealing with Boards of Directors and committees.
· University degree and several years of progressive experience in administrative and management, which include staff management.
· Knowledge and experience with meetings conduct, rules and
procedures.
· Experience with maintaining confidentiality of and in highly
sensitive situations
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· High level of interpersonal skills to facilitate effective working relationships with staff and volunteers.
· Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and establish priorities
· Expert analytical/research/investigative and problem-solving skills to identify and to pursue sources of information, data and facts to address operational issues.
· Advanced computer skills (MS Office, Internet Explorer, Outlook)
WORKING CONDITIONS
· Handles multiple priorities and interactions with many clients, both internal and external to the organization
· Collaborates with other members of the team in order to leverage opportunities
· Deals with highly sensitive materials
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
· Sits for extended periods
· Involves significant computer use
