Ocean Choice International is presently accepting applications for a dynamic leader with a proven track record of delivering high performance results to become an integral part of our plant management team. This position is based at Marystown, NL.

1. Plant Operations Manager ~ Marystown

Reporting to the Vice President of Groundfish Operations, the Plant Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the Marystown processing facility. This is a large and complex facility processing Groundfish products from our offshore quota fishery for the markets of the world.

This position will appeal to the seasoned Manager who is comfortable operating in a fast paced and challenging environment. You will be focused on continuous improvement using a combination of Best Practices, Lean Manufacturing Principles and strong coaching skills to deliver superior performance. You are a skilled leader in the area of change management and you excel in a team-based environment.

You are an experienced professional who welcomes challenge and change. You have demonstrated sound judgment, problem solving skills and the capability to manage multiple projects in a demanding, fast paced work environment.

Ideally you possess Post Secondary training in a Food related field, Business or Engineering discipline supplemented by a progressive career in a manufacturing environment. Candidates should have strong analytical skills with proven problem solving ability.

Experience with the use of personal computer applications is a required asset. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
