We are seeking a client focused and experienced Medical Radiation Technologist in General Radiography, MRT (R).
1. X-Ray Technologist
Here are the Technologist's responsibilities
- Radiology supplies and equipment maintenance and management
- Patient preparation for and performance of x-ray and/or mammography following the required guidelines for the procedures
- Record and process patient data
- Operate unit equipment, and perform basic quality control checks on radiographic and film processing equipment
- Maintain x-ray unit facilities and equipment and order supplies
- Update, file and maintain client information
- Review of written x-ray reports and discussion with physicians and radiologists
- Prepare and calculate month end billing information and statistics
- Assist with organization and filing of medical reports
- Monitoring and facilitating the flow of patients through the Clinic
- Coordinating with other Clinic staff to ensure an exceptional delivery of service
This is a Casual role (to provide absence coverage to our existing team) and will be scheduled only as-needed.
experience and Skills:
- Certification with the CMRTO and General Radiography experience
- Mammography and Bone Density experience is an asset
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Superior communication skills- verbal, written and electronic format
- Intermediate to advanced level in MS Office and Outlook
