1. Medical Laboratory Technologist
Permanent Part-Time
Required Skills:
* Current registration certificate
* Member of the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (C.M.L.T.O.)
* Good understanding of Quality Management / Quality Improvement / Quality Assurance / Ontario Laboratory Accreditation
* Proven decision making skills
Preferred Skills:
- Recent experience (within the last 1 – 2 years) in:
Chemistry / Transfusion Services / Haematology / Phlebotomy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Assets:
- Meditech system experience
- Fluency in both English & French

i am working in all india institute of medical science as technical officer in heamatology section, 26 year of exp. i am looking for job for technician or above post.i did (1) diploma in laboratory technology (2) diploma in hiv and family education and attended several seminar and taken training.if i get chance to work in canada i will be very happy. please let me know about the vacancy. thanks
Im currently working with the Ministry Of Health In Guyana as a Medical Technologist for 5 yrs. I have my BSC in Medical Technology from the University Of Guyana.I speak fluent English and a little spanish however i have no knowledge of french.Under the Minsitry of Health i am attached to the Linden Hospital Complex Laboratory Department where i am exposed to phlebotomy, hematology, chemistry, Microbiology,immunoheamotolgy and bloohbanking.Equipment i have been trained on include the Beckman Coulter 5diff, BT200 plus, Atac 6000, Atac 8000, Cd-4 facs count machine jus to name a few. i am also a member of ASCP and was recently on a Advanced Hematology training carreid out by ASCP.i am also a a trainer of trainers for the DNA PCR testing using blood blot secimen. I am 26 yrs old and single. please let me know if i can be of service to any instituion that has vacancy thankyou for your kind cooperation.
Nb: i also know to do the heamotolgy and chemistry test manually that is counting wbc and diff; using the spectrophomoter to do heamoglobin testing along with chemistry
anlalyis.
