Qualifications:

The successful candidate must possess a certificate in office administration, and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience working in an office environment performing various clerical duties.  Enrollment in or completion of a recognized accounting program and/or experience performing various accounting duties would be desired.  Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook is required and experience with the SAP Timekeeping role would be desired.  Excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines, good analytical and problem solving skills and excellent oral and written communication skills are required.   The successful candidate will have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, but also be able to work with minimal direction.    Knowledge of automobile insurance in Manitoba as well as Manitoba Public Insurance (MPI) Insurance Workstation (IWS) application is desirable.  Knowledge of VEMA’s products and services as well as Keys, their fleet management software, is also desirable.

Duties:

Reporting to the Manager of Support Services, this position is responsible for the production and distribution of all (VEMA) billings, as well as providing vehicle registration and insurance, handling traffic violation notices and generating and tracking vehicle and equipment lease documentation.  In addition, the position acts as lead timekeeper for VEMA’s corporate and regional shop clerical staff.  This is one of four positions that provide vehicle registration and insurance services.  Additional duties include handling all traffic violation paperwork as well as generating and tracking vehicle and equipment lease documentation.  Additional duties also include maintaining a personnel file system, responding to customer inquiries and acting as back up in the preparation of daily bank deposits.
