Heavy Equipment Operator II (Various locations)

Salary: $29.05 per hour
These are indeterminate positions, working 80 hours bi-weekly.
At Transportation Maintenance we are committed to maintaining highways, recreational roads, airstrips and other infrastructures for the traveling public. We are dedicated to delivery service in a professional and effective manner and safety is our number one priority.
Essential Qualifications:
• Accredited heavy equipment operator course along with relevant experience operating equipment (including a
loader, dump truck or tractor trailer and a grader), or
• Job experience operating a wide variety of heavy equipment including a loader, dump truck or tractor trailer and
a grader
• Mechanical aptitude/experience
• Valid Yukon Class 3 driver’s license with air endorsement or equivalent

Additional Information:
Conditions of Employment: YG certification on heavy equipment (grader, loader, dump truck or tractor trailer),
Transportation Dangerous Goods Certificate must be obtained within 6 months of hire, Valid Yukon Class 3 driver’s license with air endorsement
Job Requirements: Travel, shared accommodations, working in adverse weather conditions, mandatory use of
personal protective equipment, shift work, and work outside of headquarters area for extended periods of time
Eligibility List: 6 months
