What we are looking for: Must hold a valid OIT (or obtain within 3 months) with the ability to obtain a valid Wastewater Treatment II and Wastewater Collection II certification. Have applied knowledge of the operation of wastewater treatment facilities and collection systems; sound mathematical and record keeping skills; knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation techniques, practices/maintenance; basic computer skills/knowledge for process control; knowledge of sampling, chemical techniques; good communication skills; knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act; ability to perform manual labour; must have a valid Class G driver’s license; must be available for weekend, statutory holidays and after hours, and on call duty. Individual should be self motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision.
