Steel-Craft Door Products Ltd. has been manufacturing residential, commercial and industrial overhead doors since 1963. The company’s manufacturing facility and corporate head office is located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. In addition to a large Distribution Centre attached to the plant, we have five other Distribution Centres serving the overhead door industry in Canada from coast to coast.
Our Alberta operation currently has an opening in our Outside Sales Division. We are looking for a Representative in our Southern Alberta Region, based out of Calgary.
The successful candidate will be the primary interface with direct customers within the Territory. You will be responsible for maintaining current customer relationships, providing technical support, making regular dealer / lumberyard calls and preparing various reports. You will work closely with the National Sales Manager and the Marketing Division. You will maintain an ongoing awareness of customer and general market trends in order to meet the market needs. This position will require extensive travel during the first six months of employment, as the focus will be on meeting and understanding the needs of our customer base. Secondary duties will include cross-training, to assist the inside sales team when necessary.
Outside Sales Representative
Experience and Education
· Post-Secondary degree or strong experience may be substituted.
· 4-7 years of Outside Sales experience.
· Manufacturing industry experience is desirable.
· Mechanical aptitude is essential.
· Exceptional customer service abilities.
· Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrated through written and verbal communication.
· Proficient organizational and time management skills to multi-task and prioritize multiple customer inquiries simultaneously.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
