Title: Maintenance Manager
Location: Head Office, Toronto
Reporting to: VP Engineering and Risk Management
Responsibilities: You will be involved as the driving force behind the general maintenance and asset management program for all operating units including; 21 asphalt terminals located throughout Canada, Sterling Marine Fuels, Transportation and other McAsphalt interests. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to; the implementation and management of maintenance programs and procedures, equipment inventory systems management, the supervision of maintenance staff and contractors, working with project managers and equipment suppliers/installers, routine production equipment maintenance programs, emergency and general repair and a proactive approach towards maintenance with Facility Managers in a wide geographic area. Your ability to optimize current initiatives and implement new programs will be the key to your success in this role.
Requirements:To qualify you must possess a related degree/diploma or Manufacturing Trades Certificate and 5 plus years experience in a Maintenance Role. You will have extensive knowledge of current preventative maintenance systems. Knowledge of Local, Provincial and Federal workplace compliance regulations, ordinances and legislation. Experience with chemical or petroleum manufacturing/processing will be an asset. Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs, proprietary software and a good sense of humor are required.
