Mount Saint Agnes Academy, founded by the Sisters of Charity, has been providing excellence in education in Bermuda since 1890. To continue this proud tradition of Catholic education in Bermuda, a suitably qualified and experienced teacher is required for the following position for September 2011:
French/Performing Arts Teacher (K-12)
Candidate must:
- Be a qualified, experienced teacher who has demonstrated successful teaching experience in area of discipline.
- Demonstrate successful teaching experience in area of discipline.
- Hold at least a Bachelor degree and Bachelor of Education degree in area of discipline.
- Have proven ability in the use of information technology in the delivery of the curriculum.
- Have experience in the delivery of the respective subject in a differentiated classroom.
- Be willing to coach or moderate an extracurricular activity at the direction of the Principal.
- Be required to perform homeroom duties with record keeping responsibilities, supervisory duties, and substitutions as required by the Principal.
- Be registered or qualified to be registered with the Bermuda Educators’ Council.
- Have knowledge of the Alberta Education curriculum, would be an asset. (MSA is in its second year of implementing the Program of Studies from Alberta Education.)
