Ryan Energy is currently seeking Electronics Technicians of all levels. We are seeking individuals who are highly motivated, organized and detail oriented to join our team in our Calgary Technical Centre facility. They will work with a team of technicians to provide Ryan Energy with a top-notch fleet of MWD tools by promptly and efficiently utilizing Ryan procedures to service, maintain, repair and manufacture all MWD equipment in support of field activity.
Electronics Technician

Essential Job Functions:
* Repair and maintain Lithium batteries and associated assemblies
* Repair and maintain Rycon Interconnect assemblies
* Repair and maintain Spearpoints and Lower End Assemblies
* Ability to assemble and test the MWD tool string with Test Center equipment
* Ability to Re-Stock and Re-Qualify the MWD System Support Container
* Ability to Rig up and demonstrate the functionality of the Commercial Ryan Surface Systems
* Ability to Test, Rebuild, and Re-Qualify all Ryan MWD equipment
* Ability to Test, Inspect, Build, and Troubleshoot all Ryan MWD equipment
* Prioritize workload based on equipment demand and expected job requirements
* Maintain all databases involved in tracking individual tool performance
* Perform pre-determined Q/A & Q/C procedures as required
* Work in accordance with Ryan’s Safety procedures
Education & Related Experience:
* High School Diploma
* Electronics Diploma or Certificate, or equivalent experience is preferred
* 1-2 years experience in oilfield services is considered an asset
* Experience in troubleshooting electronic circuitry
Skill Requirements:
* Ability to understand technical drawings
* Soldering skills considered an asset
* Computer literacy, including Windows and Microsoft Office experience
* Ability to lift and carry up to 75lbs
* Must be able to effectively coordinate and complete multiple tasks according to various deadlines
* Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
* Strong problem solving skills and team cooperation
* Attention to detail and strong work ethic
