The Trinity Bellwoods is a licensed, art focused, child directed daycare centre in downtown Toronto. In the summer, we continue to be licensed but move the program outdoors for ''Art In The Park'' where 75 children ages 6 to 12 are enrolled on a weekly basis. Within this framework, there are 2 separate programs for children- 8:30am to 6pm and 9:00am to 2:30pm.

Child Care Staff

Graduates or students in the fields of ECE / Child & Youth Workers / Recreationists / Fine Arts) needed for an award winning outdoor, art focused, and child-directed licensed child care centre (summer camp) working with children ages 6-12 years of age.

· All positions and wages are subject to funding and Board of Directors approval. Rates of pay range from $13 to $14 dollars per hour depending on funding, experience and budget approval.

· Summer positions are full time, Monday to Friday, 10AM to 6PM

· Jobs begin on Monday June 18, 2012 and end on Friday August 24, 2012. (hours vary June 18 to 29 to accommodate on the job training).

Job Requirements

- If hired, current & valid Police Reference Check (paid by candidate) required to be on file on first day of employment.

- If hired, up to date immunization records (including TB Test /Tetanus/Diptheria/Polio) required to be on file on first day of employment.

- If hired, doctor's note stating that candidate is healthy and physically able to work with children required to be on file on first day of employment (paid by candidate).

- If hired, ECE Graduates must be registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators Ontario and submit a copy of their registration card on first day of employment (paid by candidate).- Clearly speak and write English.

- If hired, a wrist watch, to meet routines and transitions of the centre.

- Proper clothing attire suitable for a daycare centre.

- Energy, enthusiasm, initiative and flexibility.
