Accounting Clerk

Under the supervision of the Manager of Finance/Treasurer, the Accounting Clerk will assist in managing all accounting and bookkeeping functions of the municipality.

Ideally, the successful candidate would possess a CMA, CGA or Accounting Diploma with 3 years related experience preferably in a municipal environment. Along with possessing excellent accounting and analytical skills the candidate will also have sound and knowledge of Federal/Provincial legislation and programs pertaining to municipal government financial management including the Public Sector Accounting Practices.

The Town of Huntsville offers an attractive benefit package and a competitive salary range. The salary range for this position is currently $42,094.81 to $46,772.01.
