This involves designing, building, implementing, and supporting applications. You assist users with the resolution of application-related problems and provide support in the development and implementation of automated information systems. These duties include establishing requirements through analysis of relevant systems and consultation with users, and preparing detailed flow chart diagrams and program specifications. Other duties include coding, compiling, testing, installing and debugging of programs. First line technical support and assistance to users with respect to the resolution of computer related problems is provided. The Change and Configuration Management processes are to be understood and followed. Compliance with Commission policies pertaining to security and Electronic Data Processing (EDP) audit procedures and controls is expected. Duties also include liaising with external vendors regarding software engagements and troubleshooting issues. Generally, you provide ongoing support to end users and other technical areas, and perform related duties as assigned. Responsible for treating passengers and/or employees with respect and dignity and ensuring the needs of passengers or employees with disabilities are accommodated and/or addressed (if applicable and within their area of responsibility) in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code and Related Orders so that they can fully benefit from the TTC as a service-provider and an employer. Annual Salary Range: $57,202.60 - $71,471.40 (Level 7).
